Feeding the Future

Berryessa Union School District participates in the National School Lunch Program.  Lunch is available at all of our schools for $2.50.  Middle schools offer a mid-morning brunch for $1.50.  Meals offered meet the USDA nutrition guidelines that are consistent with the Dietary Guidelines for Americans.

 Financial Assistance - Free and Reduced Price Meals
{apple} If you need assistance paying for student meals, fill out a Free and Reduced Price Meal application.  Complete one application per family.  A current application needs to be filled out each school year.  Applications are accepted throughout the year at your child's school, the Berryessa Union School District Office at 1376 Piedmont Road or click here : Free/Reduced Meal Application frequently asked questions.  A letter advising you of your application status will be mailed to your home.
 Prepay Student Meals
Parents are encouraged to pay for meals in advance.  The lunch price is $2.50 per day.  Prepayment is {kid} credited until meals are taken.
  • Cash or Check
    • Cash or checks are accepted at all schools.  Checks can be issued to Berryessa Child Nutrition Services (BUSD CNS).  Please write your child's name and teacher's name on the check so it can be easily identified.
  • Credit/Debit  Card Online
    • It is simple to use!  Create one account for all of your children.  You will need each child's Berryessa student identification number (SASI number) that you can obtain in person from your child's school and the school's postal zip code.  Click on the secured prepay MyNutriKids.com icon for more details.  You can also pay by e-Check.
