{PTA Meeting} The Brooktree PTA is open to all Brooktree parents and teachers, as well as interested community members.
The PTA makes every effort to support instructional programs through its many activities, such as parent education, assemblies, social events and author visits. Meetings take place on the third Friday of each month at 7:30 a.m. in the library. All parents and teachers are encouraged to attend!

Assembly Coordinator
Choose assemblies, and coordinate times and dates with School Administrative Staff
Spring Walk-a-Thon and Celebration/Awards Night
We need parents to help set-up the Walk-a-Thon. This event will take place during the school day. We will have a celebration and Awards Night the evening of the Walk-a-Thon, as well as a Silent Auction, if possible. 2-6 parents would be ideal.
Science Fair
Assist staff in setting up Science Fair Night
Community Events Coordinator
PTA values the opportunity for our Brooktree families to enjoy community events such as the "Taste of Brooktree" Potluck, Craft Nights, Star Parties, etc. We need volunteers to help coordinate such events.
Volunteer Coordinator
Keep track of volunteer sheets that are returned. Contact and remind parents of their volunteer commitments.
Fall Bookfair
Assist in coordinating and helping at our Fall and/or Spring Bookfairs. Work close with Media Tech, Donna Glanville
Red Ribbon Week
Distribute materials to classrooms and decorate school with red ribbons for drug awareness
Teacher/Staff Appreciation
Coordinate a parent donation letter, a luncheon and/or teacher gifts. 1-3 parents would be ideal.
