New Immunization Requirements

NEW Immunization Requirements and Senate Bill (SB) 277

(Effective for the 2016-17 school year)
Parents should be aware of Senate Bill (SB) 277, effective in 2016, which no longer permits immunization exemptions based on personal beliefs for children in child care and public and private schools.
The following link may be helpful for more information regarding SB277.
New law enforced as of 7/1/11 requires schools to have proof of Tdap (Pertussis) booster for all students entering grades 7-12 before the first day of the 2011-12 school year.
