PROJECT SUMMARY: 

The Berryessa Union School District is seeking proposals for Category One (1) services, specifically Internet Access/Telecommunications, as part of its E-Rate FY2026 application. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified service providers to provide high-quality Internet Access/Telecommunication services to support the educational needs of our students and staff.

The proposed services will be used to support the Berryessa Union School District's educational goals and objectives, including providing reliable and fast internet access to all students and staff. The selected service provider will be expected to provide a comprehensive solution that meets the Berryessa Union School District's technical requirements and is compliant with all applicable E-Rate regulations.

PROJECT TIMELINE 

The following is the schedule of events for the RFP submittal and selection process. The Consortium reserves the right to change the schedule. 

PROPOSAL DELIVERY
Response must be received on or before the date and time detailed above in PDF format via email at berry.erate@edtechnologyfunds.com.

Any questions regarding the RFP must be made by email to berry.erate@edtechnologyfunds.com.

VENDOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING ANY ADDENDUMS/AMENDMENTS THAT MAY HAVE BEEN ISSUED/POSTED PRIOR TO THE BID OPENING.

RESPONSES RECEIVED LATER THAN THE DATE AND TIME SPECIFIED WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. 

This Request for Proposal does not commit the Berryessa Union School District to award a contract, to pay for any costs incurred in the preparation of a proposal, or to procure or contract the services or supplies. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to waive any irregularities, accept or reject any or all proposals, and be the sole judge of merit and suitability of the workmanship and materials.  The decision of the Board is final. 

If no proposals are received by the RFP deadline, the Berryessa Union School District reserves the right to extend the deadline by fourteen (14) days and seek out proposals from multiple Service Providers. A new Form 470 and bidding process are not required.  

All notices, clarifications, and amendments to this RFP will be distributed via the aforementioned website. The District shall not be responsible for sending individual notifications of changes or updates to any respondents.

It is the sole responsibility of the proposer to remain apprised of changes to this RFP. 

The School District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the proposals or in the proposal process. All proposals shall be valid for 90 days after the proposal due date.
