The District works jointly with the Silicon Valley New Teacher program to provide comprehensive support to new teachers in the form of a state recognized Induction model.  Participation in the program is mandatory for first and second year teachers in the profession or others needing to satisfy credential requirements in order to pursue clear certification.  Teacher advisors are trained to model best teaching practices.
 
We also offer meaningful support to our classified staff and other experienced personnel new to the district.  We encourage their professional development and growth.
 
In addition the district engages in providing ongoing staff development opportunities for employees across the board.
