Edmodo is a full-featured network designed for the educational environment. It has the look of Facebook, which grabs students' interest, but it also has controls in place to help protect their privacy and promote positive interactions among students and teachers. Parents also have a portal to view student activity.  Connect with teachers, students and families to share what's going on in your educational environment.

Nearpod is a unique mobile platform for the use of iPads (and other mobile devices) in the classroom. Using Nearpod, teachers and students can easily create interactive multimedia presentations including slides, video, audio and live web pages, as well as engaging interactive features like polls, drawings, quizzes and free text activities.  This workshop is only one session; choose either date. Note: Created on a computer for student use on an iPad.

Imagine an App For the iPad that allows the user to do just that— explain anything and everything! Its easy-to-use interface can be used to create and share tutorials, collaborate and develop ideas, and create live or recorded presentations. This tool meets many of the demands of the CCSS including speaking and listening and making use of digital media and visual displays of data to communicate ideas.

Explore how to find content and create customized learning experience using various function and features. Build curated media collections to enrich and invigorate curriculum units and aid in comprehension with trusted media.
