We are excited to invite all BUSD educators to participate in educational technology professional development that will enable them to utilize technology tools for the Common Core.
All sessions take place from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm
Please be advised that these professional growth sessions are un-paid and voluntary.
The Google Educator Series is a collection of trainings for teachers looking to maximize productivity and learning in their classrooms. Whether you are new to Google Apps and just want to learn the basics or you're an advanced user looking to build custom, automated forms with Google Scripts, there’s a workshop for you. Learn and see examples of how these tools increase the 4 Cs: critical thinking, communication, creativity, and collaboration. All-important components of the Common Core State Standards.
Digital Tools for the Common Core
Do you want to increase productivity while meeting the digital demands of the Common Core? Join the BUSD EdTech Team and our partners to explore the use of digital tools that support the rigorous content expectations and the pedagogical shifts of the CCSS. Educators will participate in hands-on and collaborative sessions that embed the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to develop their own Common Core technology toolbox! Learn how to incorporate these tools into their instruction to inspire creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication--all skills necessary for college and career readiness.
