The Online Registration Portal is closed to allow us to make updates for the new 2026-2027 school year. It will open again in the coming weeks. If you need to process an enrollment, please contact your school site directly.

If you need to enroll in the district for the 2025-26 school year, please use a paper enrollment packet. You can print the packet here.

For ALL transfers within our district (Intradistrict Transfer) and leaving our district (Interdistrict Transfer) or Interdistrict Transfers coming into our district, please email your forms to Sandra Koehler at skoehler@busd.net 

ALL Elementary and Middle Schools are OPEN for applying for transfers for the 2025-26 school year.

You may apply for an Intradistrict transfer to any BUSD school and will be notified if accepted before the end of the current school year.

Please note for 2025-26 requests from impacted families of closed school sites will be prioritized first. Keep in mind that available placements are contingent upon enrollment capacity, classroom ratios, and staffing availability.

Intradistrict Transfers (in district) for Transitional Kindergarten WILL NOT be accepted. 

Interdistrict Transfers (out of district) are placed where space is available upon approval of transfer.
